Version 2026-11, effective 2 December 2026 · Citron (operated by Inkblot Studio)
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
1.1 Citron is a hosted back office for websites: a content management system and the business tools around it, reached through the Citron console, the delivery API and related services (the "Services"). The Services are provided by Inkblot Studio OOD, a limited liability company registered in Bulgaria under UIC 208715250 (VAT number BG208715250), with its registered office at 19 Maragidik, floor 2, office 1, 8000 Burgas, Bulgaria ("Inkblot Studio", "we", "us").
1.2 These terms apply between us and the organisation that creates a Citron workspace (the "Customer", "you"). The person who accepts them confirms that they may bind that organisation.
2. Accounts and workspaces
2.1 You sign in with a CitronOS account. You are responsible for the people you invite, the roles you give them, and for keeping sign-in details and API keys confidential.
2.2 A workspace belongs to the Customer it is created for. On the Agency plan, an agency may create and manage workspaces for its own clients; the agency is responsible for having its client's permission to do so, and a client can revoke the agency's access from its own workspace settings.
3. Early access
3.1 Access to Citron is by invitation. You request access at citronos.com/request-access, and we decide whether to open a workspace for you. Approved access has no fixed end date: it continues until you or we end it under these terms.
3.2 No fees are charged during early access. Before any billing starts, we agree a plan with you in writing (email is enough). Section 4 applies from then on.
4. Plans, prices and payment
4.1 Plans and prices are shown on citronos.com/pricing and in the console. Prices are in euro. VAT and other taxes are added where they apply.
4.2 Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly where a yearly price is offered, through our payment provider Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel in the console (Settings → Billing); cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
4.3 Enterprise plans are agreed in a separate order form, which prevails over these terms where they differ.
4.4 We may change prices for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice by email or in the console.
5. Your data
5.1 You own the content and data you put into the Services ("Customer Data"). You give us the rights we need to host, process and display it to provide the Services.
5.2 For personal data in Customer Data, we act as your processor under the Data Processing Agreement at citronos.com/legal/dpa, which forms part of these terms.
5.3 You can export your Customer Data at any time from the console. After the agreement ends we delete Customer Data as described in the Data Processing Agreement.
5.4 Stored files. Citron is a web platform, so what you upload is stored on our servers. Files in the media library and attachments added to a Citron AI conversation are Customer Data. By uploading a file you agree to it being stored and processed in this way.
5.5 How files are reached. So that they can appear on websites and in the console, uploaded files are served from long, hard-to-guess web addresses. These addresses do not ask for a sign-in: anyone who has one can open the file. Do not upload anything that must stay behind a sign-in.
5.6 How long files stay. Deleting a conversation does not delete its attachments. Library files stay until you delete them. Conversation attachments stay until you ask us to delete them (support@citronos.com). In every case, files are deleted after the agreement ends, as the Data Processing Agreement describes.
6. Acceptable use
6.1 You must not use the Services to break the law, to send unsolicited bulk messages, to store or distribute malicious code, to infringe others' rights, or to attempt to access other customers' data or to disrupt the Services.
6.2 We may suspend access that puts the Services or other customers at risk. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
7. AI features
7.1 Some features use AI models from third-party providers. They are on by default and limited by the plan's monthly AI credits. To have them turned off for a workspace, write to support@citronos.com. AI output can be wrong; you are responsible for reviewing it before you rely on or publish it.
7.2 Citron AI. When someone uses Citron AI, their messages, attachments, the page they are on and the workspace data needed for the answer are sent to our AI provider to produce the reply. A change proposed by Citron AI or by an agent is made only after a person approves it.
7.3 Agents. Agents run when someone starts them, on a schedule, or automatically when something happens in the workspace, such as a new enquiry, if the workspace sets that up. Every run uses AI credits.
7.4 Dictation. Dictated speech is sent to our speech provider to turn it into text. We do not keep the recording. The provider handles it under its own terms, as the Privacy Policy describes.
8. Connected services
8.1 When you connect a database, API or third-party service, you confirm that you are allowed to do so. Third-party services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
9. Availability and support
9.1 We aim to keep the Services available and to announce planned maintenance in advance. Unless you have an Enterprise service level agreement, the Services are provided without a guaranteed uptime.
9.2 Support is available by email at support@citronos.com.
10. Intellectual property
10.1 The Services, the Citron name and brand, and our software remain ours. You receive a right to use the Services for the duration of your subscription. Feedback you give us may be used to improve the Services.
11. Confidentiality
11.1 Each party keeps the other's non-public information confidential and uses it only to perform these terms.
12. Warranties and liability
12.1 We provide the Services with reasonable skill and care. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, the Services are provided "as is".
12.2 Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them to.
13. Term and termination
13.1 These terms apply while you have a workspace. You can stop at any time by cancelling your subscription. We may terminate for material breach that is not fixed within 30 days of notice.
14. Changes to these terms
14.1 We may update these terms. We will give at least 30 days' notice of material changes by email or in the console. Continuing to use the Services after that date means you accept the new version.
15. Law and contact
15.1 These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Bulgaria. The jurisdiction clause is still to be confirmed by counsel.
15.2 Questions about these terms: sales@citronos.com.
